This is such a dumb question....
So, I was going to bake a batch of cookie bars for a friend's birthday tomorrow at work...

But when I went to put it in what I thought was going to be a pre-heated oven, I discovered our oven was suddenly not working!

So, do you think I can cook it in the microwave? Anybody ever tried this or have some advice?

I'm probably going to try it anyways, I don't have anything to lose at this point except a batch of cookie bars.

Do you know any neighbors well enough to ask to borrow their oven? I tried these in the microwave once and it turned into a mushy gooey mess.

I thought about that.. but we just moved in here a month or a little more ago, and I'm not that close with them yet!

I tried microwaving them. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but they turned out ok. Not great, but ok!

You can. Not. Bake. in a microwave.

You will wind up with a gooey mess. It will NOT bear any remote resemblance to cookie bars. Go get yourself a toaster oven.
